Easy & delicious Salted Caramel + Peanut Butter Protein Balls
Isolation has got us inspired to get creative in the kitchen! As well as snacking a little bit more than we should… but it doesn’t count when it’s healthy, right? 
These protein balls are a perfect go-to for a quick snack that can be stored in the fridge or freezer for longer shelf life. 
Grab all ingredients online or in-store at T-Bones! 
1 – 1/2 cups pitted dried dates 
1 cup almonds 
1/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut(+extra for rolling)
2 tbsp peanut butter
1/4 tsp salt


1. Add the soaked dates, almonds, peanut butter, shredded coconut and salt to a food processor and pulse until it forms into a sticky dough.
2. Using your hands, roll into bite-sized balls, and then roll into a plate of shredded coconut to top if desired.
Store in the fridge in an airtight container 
NOTES: Soak dried dates in water for at least 10 minutes and drain before blending so they become soft.
A powerful blender will also work for this recipe just be wary of the nuts!
This recipe is easily adapted to any flavour you desire! You add other dried fruit and nuts easily!

Cheese platter essential

Instead of making into balls I made them into logs and rolled in sesame seeds instead of coconut. Perfect addition to a cheese platter served with camenbert and nuts.
